I am a theater director, actor, and dramaturg and have been directing and performing professionally for over 25 years. As an artist, my theatrical work has been produced in Los Angeles by the John Anson Ford Theatre, The Latino Theater Company, East West Players, Company of Angels, Playwrights’ Arena, TeAda Productions, Artists at Play, Casa 0101, and Highways Performance Space, among others. I directed the nationally-touring production of Refugee Nation at Intermedia Arts/Pangea World Theater in Minneapolis (2010, above) and co-directed its critically acclaimed production at the Los Angeles Theatre Center with Armando Molina (2012, above). My directorial work has been seen at the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Valdez, Alaska and in the Arts Council Korea’s Performing Arts Series in Seoul. My original production of Velina Hasu Houston's Kokoro (True Heart) (2003, above) is featured in the Dramatist Play Service published version.
